El Gran Coyote

We tried this little family owned taco truck in Owasso and absolutely loved it! Friendly conversation, greeted with a warm smile, and the food was amazing. Can't wait to go back! Hope to see you there, definitely check it out if you're in the area it's well worth it!

El Gran Coyote stands for The Great Coyote! And great it was! I order the most difficult meats to prepare to test the flavor and skill of the cooks. To see if the integrity of their statement fits my already critical expectations. I know mexican food very well. I cannot be fooled by the often loosely used "authentic Mexican food" when they really are a sorry imitation of it. The Gran Coyote is definitely not an imitation. The brain tacos, tongue tacos and pastor passed the test. They are as authentic as you will get living in the USA. I hope to come back to check on their quality consistency. The lady taking the orders could tell I never been here before so she carefully made sure to ask the right questions for my order and then after I was done ahe asked for my opinion. The cool too wished me a good meal as I began to eat. Overall it was a well deserved 5 Star review Gracias!!

For some reason I thought this was a BBQ food truck. I saw a post on FB showing street tacos. Today I stopped and the owner is extremely friendly and helped me to decide vegetarian choices. I caved and got a chicken Sope and vegetarian . The best I will be back.

El Gran Coyote is a regular in my rotation of taco trucks. I've had almost everything on their menu, but I always seem to gravitate to the torta. Huge, full of flavor and priced right, it always hits the spot for lunch. The street tacos are well filled and tasty, the crunchy tacos also are some of the best around. My son absolutely loves their quesadillas, and the wife loves their carne asada dinner. People are always polite and friendly. Hands down on of the best taco trucks in town.

We ordered tacos de asada, rice, and beans. The beans were very creamy and flavorful. The rice had good flavor. The tacos were savory and went well with the green salsa. Would have added pictures but I ate them right away. The woman working was very kind as well. Great place would recommend to anyone.

The crew is wonderful, the food is always fresh, actually fresh, and the prices are perfect. They remeber my most common orders. I live about 30 min away but they are my favorite and worth it.

This is by far the absolute best Mexican food I have had in owasso. The customer service is outstanding with employees speaking both Spanish and English. The food, oh my, the food. Perfection, in my opinion. I highly, highly recommend coming to this place and getting something, anything. It's worth it. Everything is very reasonably priced but more importantly it tastes like it should cost a lot more. Only take literal minutes to get your food. Amazing every time.
